Thank you for adding this test file. After some minimal changes to the XIB loading code (and a fix for the keyed decoding of NSString) I was able to load your file and most gui elements look OK. There are a few of the buttons missing, I will investigate that separately.

thanks, i can confirm its fixed.

since these decoding problems seem to be common i've created a XIB file that contains every cocoa control that exists in gnustep - sometimes multiple times with different options - and attached it together with a screenshot how the thing looks in InterfaceBuilder. maybe its useful, if not just throw it away ;-)

This again was a keyed decoding error in GNUstep. We were expecting Apple do encode the flags structure directly, but a different in file format seems to get used.
