I will have to close this bug as invalid as this isn't related to GNUstep itself.

It is a compiler bug and you should submit it to the bug tracking system of your compiler (gcc or clang). And even there it would help to give some information about the version of the compiler and sample code to reproduce the problem.

I was scratching my head trying to figure out where I had left out a bracket for about 15 minutes when at compile time I got a bunch of errors saying "expected ")" after NSclassNameHere.". I assumed this was caused by me missing a bracket early in my header file, but it was actually caused by my failure to #include<AppKit/AppKit.h>.

In the event an interface is missing for a delegate it is very difficult to track down the error.
