I'm closing this old feature request bug report that has had no activity or interest in working on in 5 years. If someone is still interested in adding more features to the glpk function, the wiki might be a better place to describe the project idea.

Hello,

it would be useful to add some control parameters to enable the MIP presolver and integer cuts to glpk(). These correspond to the following options of the "glpsol" command line solver:

--intopt use MIP presolver (default)
...
--gomory generate Gomory's mixed integer cuts
--mir generate MIR (mixed integer rounding) cuts
--cover generate mixed cover cuts
--clique generate clique cuts
--cuts generate all cuts above

Notice that the MIP presolver is enabled by default so it would be useful to make it the default also in glpk() to get consistent results between glpk() and the command line solver.

Thanks in advance, and keep up with the excellent work.

Bye,

Denis Sbragion
