Thanks! I've fixed or improved all of these. (Note by "fixed" I mean the changes are checked into doc/kawa.texi in the Subversion tree. Next time I update the web pages these changes will be included.)

This confused me. I think it clearer to say
That indicates, in Java terms, an instance or static initializer, i.e., a block of code executed when a new instance is created or the class is loaded.
