Octave just release a new version, 3.4.0, after a year and a half and there are many, many improvements and bug fixes. Could you re-check that quaternion still has installation issues using the latest version of octave?

I'm testing out Version 1.8 19 December 2010 of the quaternion/qtfm toolbox and I'm getting errors
running the set_octave_path command

I get these errors:
