YouTube channel videos are presently being served as AVM2, although apparently the YouTube guys are working on changing it to AVM1 for Gnash. Until then, there's nothing we can do here.

That flash are AVM2, that are not yet viewable, because there is no AVM2 machine done yet...

In Ubuntu 10.10, from fresh install got Gnash git master via:

cd ~/Desktop && sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge gnash* && sudo add-apt-repository 'deb http://www.getgnash.org/debs/ubuntu maverick main' && wget http://getgnash.org/gnashdev.key && sudo apt-key add gnashdev.key && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade && sudo apt-get install gnash browser-plugin-gnash && rm gnashdev.key

Opened Firefox and went to http://www.youtube.com/deliciousskateshop same problem, no change (please see attached about-plugins.pdf.bz2).

Same here, On Fedora 14, gnash 0.8.8.
BUT: if we right click on a video at the right hand side , on the url posted, and we open that video in a new Firefox tab, the video DOES play.

Content at http://overthepeak.com/wordpress/ (vimeo in general) does not play.

If stuff plays, it often stutters while starting, emitting stuff like:

ERROR: Too many attempts to read from the player!
ERROR: Couldn't find Method "onYouTubePlayerReady"
ERROR: Couldn't find Method "reportFlashTiming"
ERROR: Couldn't find Method "reportTimingMaps"
etc

can you try with last gnash plugin?
i believe your problem could be related just with the plugin...
because standalone gnash works fine.

you need to download gnash sources, then make && make install-plugin

In Maverick, gnash 0.8.8, I could see the game and click certain things, but the game did not play correctly.

3) Thank you for reading this. What is expected is when one installs mozilla-plugin-gnash then goes to: http://www.youtube.com/deliciousskateshop a video begins playing immediately.

4) What happens instead is that the webpage comes up done and the area where the video is expected is just black. Secondary clicked box -> Movie Control -> Play and still a black screen after 5 minutes (please see screenshot.png attached). I am new to Ubuntu Linux and at this time do not have the facilities to further contribute other than making this bug. Just wanted to bring to your attention, no big deal. If any more questions exist, please ask.
