I can confirm that if I revert commit 983f4e90 (cairo: Fix rendering of wide titles for GUI rendering) and commit 845d4b4f3f (cairo: Draw table titles in xr_rendering_draw() too) then scrolling doesn't damage large tables anymore.

I've seen this too.

I think that this worked before, so I wonder whether I introduced this bug when I added table titles to the output viewer, at or around commit 845d4b4f3 "cairo: Draw table titles in xr_rendering_draw() too."

If I have a largish table in the output window, and scroll up/down using the vertical scrollbar, there are parts of the text which do not get properly redrawn. Hiding and reshowing the window repairs the damage.
