This is because of restart markers. They aren't implemented and I don't know how exactly they are supposed to behave

I have at least two JPEG files that not displayed in the background.

By loading them manually on the command line I got this error message:
"jpeg: invalid 0xFF in data stream"

This comes from file jpeg.c, line 124.

Unfortunately I cannot attach the said files as they exceed the site limit.
