Thanks, I've done that.

I would have no strong objections if we removed it from the build until it works properly.

John, is there a need to keep it in the list of sources? Personally I get a bit annoyed by the warnings that this file spits up, and it sounds like it causes build trouble for others.

Maybe you can add an option to don't use this GLM?

I have difficulties to build openSUSE RPMs, because It needs to always update no_glm.diff ( in https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=PSPP&project=home%3Aembar- )

It would be best to remove it if you realy don't use it.

After removing glm from Makefile.in and src/language/stats/automake.mk,
I successed to build RPM package for openSUSE 11.3

As glm is still under development and not currently used by any part of pspp, I suggest that we temporarily remove it from the list of source files.

I am trying to compile 0.7.5 RPM package for openSUSE, but it fails. This is the end of log:

I: File is compiled without RPM_OPT_FLAGS
W: pspp no-rpm-opt-flags <cmdline>:./src/language/lexer/q2c.c
E: pspp 64bit-portability-issue src/language/stats/glm.q:121, 128, 138, 215

More details is here:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=PSPP&project=home%3Aembar-%3Abranches%3Ahome%3Adsteuer
(click on "failed")

I tied to biuld the latest (0.7.5-g6ccced), but I also get:

I: File is compiled without RPM_OPT_FLAGS
W: pspp no-rpm-opt-flags <cmdline>:./src/language/lexer/q2c.c
E: pspp 64bit-portability-issue src/language/stats/glm.q:120, 127, 137, 214
