As I explained on ML noone has ever submitted a clean patch for this. As this is virtually useless I won't spend any of my time on it. Decreasing priority

Please implement GPT GUID support in grub2 search command as well as for linux kernel parameter root= option. If the root= is not grub2 specific please direct me to the appropriate website where I can file the feature request for the same. Thank you.
