DoubleQuotesTerm which extends ChangeableTerm which extends VariableTerm now fixes this.

An attempt was made to fix this bug but it was realised that the time that we know the changed status of double_quotes (runtime) is after the time when we need to know this information (compile time) and so there is no obvious and easy way of doing it. It may be possible to use some subclass of CompoundTerm which gives different answers depending on the current state of the double_quotes flag though. Unfortunately this doesn't work so well when we also need to be able to give an AtomTerm as our answer as well as codes and chars.

The double_quotes branch contains the aborted attempt.

gnuprologjava supports the double_quotes flag but ignores it to being set to anything other than codes.

This results in the following failures in the inria test suite:
