This bug report is for the 'image' package at Octave-Forge rather than Octave it self. I'm closing the bug here and sending an e-mail to -unavailable- with your report.

As far as I can tell, imerode (image morphological operator) erodes from edges, where objects touch edges, in Octave but not Matlab. I do need the function behaves like Matlab.

I found this on binary images. Anything I missed?
