I verified it to work on xlib, art and cairo. Xlib is indeed a bit slow, but the behaviour is correct.

I was able to reproduce this behaviour for art and xlib, but for cairo this is working correctly.
For these two backends I made a quick fix. Not the fastest code, but pattern drawing is implemented slowly anyway.
Could you please give it a try? And if the problem persists for the cairo backend, could you please report the version of cairo you are using?

Interestingly, this happens on xlib, art and cairo backend but the win32 backend seems correct!

NSProrgessIndicator draws itself incorrectly when animating in indeterminate mode. The display is clipped or shifted inside the view.

This happens inside GWorkspace for example.

For the sake of testing, I created a new test case for GSTest NSProgressIndicator-test, which displays a determinate and indeterminate progress bar.
