I cannot reproduce this in the present linux version (svn rev ~4900)

Long lines are not broken upon pasting.

If I cut-n-paste some command from a shell session in Texmacs and paste it into a terminal I find that ENTER gets "pressed" halfway through the paste

It seems like texmacs has inserted newline characters in the text to wrap the text at about 74 characters.
