Affirmative, this isn't a bug.
I just didn't expect that the plot is updated implicitly by the interpreter. Thanks!

I don't think this is a bug. The plot function does not force the figure window to be updated. That only happens if the drawnow function is called. The Octave interpreter will do this automatically at a few places, but without the call to figure, your code does not call any functions that imply a call to drawnow.

Invoking an octave "plot" command in C++ with "eval_string" will not open a plot window. The plot window is only opened with a subsequent call of "figure". Multiple figures can not be handled that way. From the attachment, just run the test script "test.sh".
