Andras,

A 2-D matrix is M x N where neither M nor N is 1. 30000x30000 is a 2-D matrix, 100x1 is a vector.

The problem was fixed in the development sources, not 3.2.3. In order to test your code you will need to build from source. Instructions for fetching the code are at the bottom of this web page: http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/download.html.

Since your matrix is 2-D you may have discovered a different problem. If that is the case, it is better to open a new bug report and attach the problem code to it.

I am getting a segfault in version 3.2.3 (64bit linux) where z is a 30000x30000 matrix.

@Rik, I don't understand what you mean by 2-D matrix rather than a vector.

This is a duplicate of bug #29861. The issue has already been fixed in the development sources.

To avoid the problem, your variable Z should be a 2-D matrix rather than a vector.
