the exception of the method invocation gets caught by some exception handler somewhere, so its a feature that doesn't work on platforms where it wouldn't have existed if not for the contribution... so i'm inclined to just let sleeping dogs lie.

development/maintenance has been mostly user contributed for a while, so my intent is to just maintain the status quo on GNUstep
as long as the application continues working without any major time investment.

This is a 10.6 method, using it will make your application Snow Leopard only. Is this what you intend to have?

I added a stand-in for this method as it was really easy to do. But you will surely find hundreds of 10.6 methods missing in GNUstep. At the moment we don't aim for 10,6 compatibility, being level with 10.5 would just be great.

the current svn of DBModeler code generator

property -> Generate ObjC files

doesn't work under gnustep
because NSSavePanel does not support the -directoryURL
method.

If someone feels like implementing this feel free to do so :)
