I think that this must be fixed.  Please, if it is not, give a recipe for reproducing the problem.

I can not reproduce (nor in Windows psppire.exe 0.7.7-g341a9f, nor in Linux 0.7.7-gfb5c91)

Re-opening this bug, as Coleson Breen reports there is still a problem.

I've not heard any more about this for some time.  So I'm pushing this patch and closing the bug.  If future problems are discovered please re-open.

If nobody has any more specific comments, I'll apply the patch and close this item.

Matej Kovacic <matej.kovacic@owca.info> noticed this also.

You need to apply the patch before any difference will be noticed.

If you still don't see any difference after applying the patch, perhaps you could post the contents of your pspp.jnl file after running the commands which don't behave as you expect.

Perhaps someone who uses the Select Cases feature for real work, could try the attached patch.   I think it addresses the problem, but there may be some caveats I haven't considered.

It seems that we should be using FILTER BY instead of SELECT IF to implement this dialog box.

I installed PSPP 0.7.2 in Windows (Note: direct installation, i.e. clicking on exe file, instead of compiling from tar.gz).

The "select cases" function under Data -> Select Cases only work one way. That means I cannot unselect when I want to revert to all cases. I have tried Select all cases or Reset. Both do not work.
