I have pushed a fix to this in git. Note that for multiple tabs you need to manually recover ~/.denemo/crashrecovery<n>.denemo

If denemo crashes (which it never does of course:) it leaves a file crashrecovery.denemo if it can. If you re-start it offers to recover it, but actually deletes it in every case.
Workaround: if you have a crash, locate and rename crashrecovery.denemo to see if it holds your last work.
