thanks, after compiling (in ubuntu the dependencies for the font do not get set right if compiling for /hoome/.../locale), I got the newest version to work! In this transposing works!

However no shifting of notes. Augmentation works by keyboard (a and d) but not for w and s and also not directly from the menu.

Thanks for the fast response!

Composer profile:
Shift+W for octave up
Shift+S for octave down.

Selecting a group of notes and selecting Edit->Transpose->TransposeSelection I get a dialog asking for a (lilypond) pitch to transpose by. Putting "c," that is c with a comma following it, physically transposes the notes in the selection down one octave. Is this what you do?

Another method of achieving the same thing is to choose Edit->Select->Apply Shortcut to Objects in Selection and then press the comma shortcut for down octave. This is for the current version of Denemo.

If you put the following script into the scheme window and press execute
do you get appropriately transposed C note?

(d-InsertC)
(d-SetMark)
(d-TransposeSelection)

No, it simply does nothing...

I tried to insert some notes into a new staff by copy paste (this works as it should); but then I wanted to transpose them one octave down, and no matter which intervall I set, it does nothing. Not on screen and not for midi playback...
