This works as expected if you cast AA.b as an int. This is the expected behavior under the MS platform and should remain this way for interoperability.

for

enum a : byte { x};

a.x + 10 does not work .

Shouldn't the compiler figure out it can coerce 10 to "enum a"
or "byte" ?.

a.x + (byte)10 works
