The messages should still be there. Perhaps you need to go into copy mode (ctrl+a [) and scroll up?

If you can create a small script that can demonstrate this bug, please reopen this bug report.

I use screen to let a script running all day long. This Python script keep writing on the same line via :

sys.stdout.write('\r' + message)
sys.stdout.flush()

The problem is that I have some important text written before the script starts to print one the same line endlessly.

When I resume a screen socket, the only line i have into my new console is '\r' + current message, that is to say that all the upper informations have disappeared !

I don't know if this can be handled into the code, but I think my script isn't implicated in this bug.

Greats.
