That is a known bug in some version of imagemagick/convert.

To tell the truth, it is rather low on the list of priorities as gnupod will continue to work as expected and the output of configure has a rather "informative" character.

You are welcome however to submit a fix for autoconf.ac as described in the post above. Lacking a system that has that buggy version of imagemagick, I would waste 99% on setting up a testbed and only spend 1% on the fix and its test. :-)

I'll mark the bug as "wont fix" but please feel free to post a patch or fork the gnupod repository on github and send a pull request this way.

Imagemagick will not be detected on my setup (Mandriva 2009, Linux, 32 bit) when running ./configure. But I have a "convert" bin!

Wrong detection of imagemagick
