I'm using now 1 1.97~beta3 and this error disappeared.

log:
bison: cannot open file `/usr/share/bison/m4sugar/m4sugar.m4': No such file or directory
make: *** [grub_script.tab.h] Error 1

Folder "/usr" not exist in MinGW. Exist "/share/bison/m4sugar/m4sugar.m4".

Hi. I try to build grub 1.96 with MinGW. Version binutils 2.19.1 (last)

checking whether objcopy works for absolute addresses... no
configure: error: GRUB requires a working absolute objcopy; upgrade your binutils
