I received an e-mail asking for more information. OS Windows Vista 64-bit home premium sp2 build 6002, directx 10, 8G ram. Gnubg, release 0915, 128M cache, is reported as "stopped working" when running either an analyze match or a rollout move with the only choice being to close the program. I have set threads from one to four on an amd phenom x2 quad core 3G system and it always fails. The point of failure varies, i.e. you can rerun the analysis and it will fail after doing a random amount of work. I can think of nothing else to add, please ask specific questions.

Without similar reports and/or more knowledge about your setup it is difficult to help.

As for the cubeless numbers, they are not quite what you think because of truncation of the games at double->pass.

When I execute a rollout I quickly get a message that gnubg has stopped working.
I also think that cube rollouts are in error but I obviously can't confirm this at present. What I was seeing under earlier releases was the player being cubed losing more games after the cube turn in double-take situations. I can not think of a reason for this ever being correct, yet it seemed to be the norm. How can owning the cube be a hinderance?
