New build farm. Not reproducable, old fedora version.

It is still possible to have the package gstreamer-plugins-base-dev missing with no error during configure. Compiling then fails.

I believe this has worked for awhile now.

I recently fixed this in trunk when I made it possible to cross configure and compile using gstreamer.

It's a bug as long as there is no configure failure when it won't compile.

I guess I should update the name, but I keep it up to date. Just x86-fedora should work too from the gnashdev machine. There were some package dependency problems, but right now libmedia compiles on that machine after I made sure the gst devel packages were all installed. The x86-debian machine already has these installed.

I mean the one called x86-fedora8, whatever version it's running. It sounds like a configure bug, then.

The gnashdev.org build farm machine is running Fedora 11, if that's the one you mean. That one didn't have the gst-interfaces package installed, so missing a header file blew up the build.

GstVideoInput and GstAudioInput will not compile with the gst version on fedora 8 (build farm) even though there is no error message during configure. The code needs some ifdefs.

../../../work/libmedia/gst/VideoInputGst.cpp: In member function 'void gnash::media::gst::VideoInputGst::findVidDevs()':
../../../work/libmedia/gst/VideoInputGst.cpp:74: error: 'GstPropertyProbe' was not declared in this scope
../../../work/libmedia/gst/VideoInputGst.cpp:74: error: 'probe' was not declared in this scope
../../../work/libmedia/gst/VideoInputGst.cpp:80: error: 'GST_PROPERTY_PROBE' was not declared in this scope
../../../work/libmedia/gst/VideoInputGst.cpp:81: error: 'gst_property_probe_probe_and_get_values_name' was not declared in this scope
