Doesn't seem to be a problem any more, although the video doesn't display unless you select a format (HQ or SD). The format itself doesn't matter, it just doesn't show until you've changed it at least once.

There should be a separate bug report for each bug.

1 and 2 are the same thing. That's how Gnash currently works, and there is already a bug report / feature request about it.

3 is a bug.

4 seems to stem from an HTTP 401 error (Not authorized) when Gnash tries to connect to the video. This is new behaviour, and I can't get the video with wget either, even when setting the referer. Maybe it requires a cookie, maybe it's looking for other variables.

Consider 1 and 2 invalid / duplicate. This bug is about the dailymotion site.

Bug 1: Gnash uses 100% of both CPU cores in Firefox or Opera

Bug 2: Gnash opens MANY instances on one page, for example on page like: http://www.bestofyoutube.com/ ( check the process viewer of your OS). Play a few videos on this website and see what is happening.

Bug 3: Gnash does NOT play HD (don't confuse with HQ) videos on youtube at all.

Bug 4: Gnash is NOT compatible with dailymotion and it does NOT play videos on dailymotion at all. Please try to use http://www.dailymotion.com and see it for yourself.

Please ask VLC (videolan) developers for help because they are developers that know how to use 2 cores and their other project is x.264, they also know a lot about codecs.

PS. My OS is 64 bit Ubuntu. Going back to libflash.so (64 bit, no wrapper).
