Mon 25 May 2009 09:30:36 PM UTC, original submission:
I registered and used the scrobblefree plugin for Rhythmbox 0.12.0, Ubuntu 9.04.
Somehow, Rhythmbox reported as "recently listened" all the tracks I've listened to in the past ~48 hours.
There are two problems here:
1. when this occurs and an artist/group is not in the database but it is, however, reported as "listened to" (although before registering), clicking the artist name in the alpha.libre.fm/user/username/recent-tracks page leads the user to a page which says "Artist not found. The artist Artist Name Here was not found in the database."
2. the second and ugliest problem is that, if case #1 happens, clicking a track title in the user's recent tracks page (track that belongs to the artist the user listened to before registering) leads to a php error.
For instance:
Artist: Bishop Of Hexen
Album: Archives Of An Enchanted Philosophy
Track: Crossing The Borders Between Light & Darkness
The error when trying to go the the page http://alpha.libre.fm/artist/Bishop%20Of%20Hexen/album/Archives%20Of%20An%20Enchanted%20Philosophy/track/Crossing%20The%20Borders%20Between%20Light%20%26%20Darkness
was:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'No such artistBishop Of Hexen' in /home/librefm/web/data/Artist.php:56 Stack trace: #0 /home/librefm/web/track.php(34): Artist->__construct('Bishop Of Hexen') #1 {main} thrown in /home/librefm/web/data/Artist.php on line 56
