Histograms don't have any meaning for string variables, so the subcommand should really be ignored.

Doing a histogram on a string variable apparently interprets string data values as "double"s, producing bizarre results.

Noticed in an example provided by pascal barbedor <pbarbedor@gmail.com>, in which the string variable was format A1 and took on only values 1 and 2.
