Works for me with agg and cairo, haven't tested OGL.

As of revno #10830, I checked in the Tomeu's latest patch, which fixes Gnash builds so the default GTK-AGG configuration works again. Thanks for fixing this promptly!

For now you'll need to configure with the cairo renderer to get this to build.

As of revno #10825, the canvas support builds into a working gtk-gnash without --enable-python. The previous "gtk_widget" directory has been renamed to the more accurate
"pythonmod". The Canvas support needs to be built by default, as it effects the default way Gnash has been rendering with GTK. I did add a "--enable-gtk-widget" option, but it currently still needs work when disabled to be fully working.

The canvas I assumed should always be added, but gtk-gnash was working for me without --enable-python. I can make building the widget optional so there is no effect on trunk.

Evidently due to this.

The new gtk widget code segfaults on startup:

gnash::GtkAggGlue::createRenderHandler (this=0x114a700)
at /home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/work/gui/gtk_glue_agg.cpp:76
#1 0x0000000000449ea4 in gnash_canvas_setup (canvas=0x10f58b0, argc=3,
argv=<value optimized out>)
at /home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/work/gui/gnash-canvas.cpp:180
#2 0x0000000000448700 in gnash::GtkGui::init (this=0x10cc690, argc=3,
argv=0x7fff5f40c8a8) at /home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/work/gui/gtk.cpp:176
#3 0x000000000043e8e9 in gnash::Player::run (this=0x7fff5f40ce90, argc=3,
argv=0x7fff5f40d048, infile=@0x10c0cf0, url=@0x6f7ca8)
at /home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/work/gui/Player.cpp:339
#4 0x0000000000429f72 in main (argc=3, argv=0x7fff5f40d048)
at /home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/work/gui/gnash.cpp:480

This is a build without --enable-python. Why is this new code enabled by default in trunk? It makes big changes and hasn't had any serious testing at all.

If I build with --enable-python, I get:

/home/benjamin/Downloads/gnash/builds/trunk-ffmpeg-agg/gui/.libs/lt-gtk-gnash: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libboost_python-mt.so.1.36.0: undefined symbol: PyExc_ImportError

I don't know why this should be, as boost python symbols shouldn't be in gtk-gnash at all, should they?
