ooo that's a tricky one! things to check: What is the time the mail was created? the time it was sent by the reciever? Unfortunatly this is a very unreliable date/time. You'd be surpized how many people/mail servers have their clocks configured incorrectly.

This weekend I changed my IMAP-Server from uwash to cyrus.
Everything was fine, but every mail has the same date now.
It's the date I reconstructed the database of cyrus.
With other mailprograms (Netscape, Squirrelmail) it is ok.

I found out that all newer mails get the timestamp when they
arrive at cyrus instead of the timestamp the mail was created.
