I can still reproduce this on Debian Etch running texmacs 1.0.6.9. It has been 4 years since this bug has been reported. Any chance of this being fixed?

thanks

config.sub should be updated to a newer version:

W: texmacs source: outdated-autotools-helper-file config.sub 2001-09-14
N:
N:   The referenced file has a time stamp older than year  2002. This
N:   usually means that the source package will not work correctly on all
N:   currently released architectures.
