seems fixed here now, thanks. I need to test on a "clean" machine though, after all the attempts I have a pretty messy GNUstep install.

I added the PATH to the objc.dll file so configure will find the objective library. I'm not positive if that's the same problem you are describing. Let me know. (The Windows installer works fine as I set PATH externally).

Make does not recognize libobjc on windows.
- get the current windows installer
- configure to install into SYSTEM
- make will tell you that objc has no thread support

windows installer supplies libobjc.
