Assuming this is fixed.

Cleaned this up a bit ... works for me.
I don't think the --prefix=/usr/local is important as it's probably just generated as a default by autoconf.

I observed this for GNUstep Base subprojects too with r27200, however this doesn't seem to affect where tools or bundles are installed in my case. I use GNUstep layout with '/' as prefix.

on a new configure, with a standard core installation, I see that I now get in the subdirectories of gworkspace configure the following:

=== configuring in Recycler (/home/multix/gnustep-cvs/devmodules/usr-apps/gworkspace/Recycler)
configure: running /bin/ksh ./configure '--prefix=/usr/local' --cache-file=/dev/null --srcdir=.
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating GNUmakefile

why does it get passed /usr/local prefix ?? I don't think this happened in the past before...

on a clean system (where I wiped /usr/GNUstep) GWorkspace doesn't compile anymore, it has troubles finding stuff inside its own frameworks. It used to work, I think this is a -make problem.
