I've pushed fixes to git. Please test.

Enter a Chord/Fakechord via the menuetry. Normally you have to use small letters to enter chordnames. If you enter anything else then a small letter, for example a capitel, a space or even just press enter to close the dialog (so.. do nothing) Denemo/lilypond is not able to render the file anymore. The only solution is to immediatly enter a real chord to the same position. If you save the file and close Denemo the file will become unloadable.

However the mentioned solution is only a half solution. You can't delete the chord after you entered it, because then the bug strikes again.

The bug is easily reproducable.
