The testcase is not reachable anymore. We did make some fixes in media parsing too so hopefully it was fixed by that...

I think I have this bug. When a video loads, it seems fine. But when I try skipping to another part, it will load the video but it will hang. The red bar goes along and I can skip to a red (loaded) part... now it plays again. This needs to be fixed so that the user can skip to a different part of the video without Gnash hanging.

Hello,

i can confirm this with the latest trunk build 10771

build with

CONFIGURE_FLAGS="--prefix=/usr/local \
--sysconfdir=/etc \
--mandir=/usr/local/share/man \
--infodir=/usr/local/share/info \
--disable-testsuite \
--disable-rpath \
--enable-plugin \
--enable-cygnal \
--with-npapi-plugindir=/usr/local/lib/gnash \
--with-kde-pluginprefix=/usr/local \
--with-plugins-install=system \
--enable-shared=yes \
--enable-sdk-install \
--enable-lotsa-warnings \
--without-gcc-arch"

./configure $CONFIGURE_FLAGS --enable-media=ffmpeg --enable-renderer=agg --enable-gui='gtk,kde3';

Cheers

I get exactly the same behaviour when using the gnash 0.8.4 packages in Debian Sid (debian package versions 0.8.4-2).

Built against gstreamer version: 0.10.20

Built against gstreamer version: 0.10.19
trunk (not better specified)

The video has a nominal duration of 7:35.
While watching it I've noticed the 'loading' widget
(the spinning circle) comes out a few times even
if the pale red bar is pretty much ahead (i'd think
there would be no need to buffer, but can't tell
as we don't have an easy way to see what's the user
defined bufferTime from the gui).

When the video playhead reaches 5:38 the movie
hangs. No video frame updates, no audio coming out.
Play/pause widget stays on 'Play' (prompts you to pause).

If I seek forward I can see video frame refreshing
but the play/pause widget keeps on 'Play' state
while the movie seems in pause mode.

If I seek backward I get the same behaviour as long
as I'm in a position > 5:38. If I seek before that
the video actually restart advancing, and stops again
at 5:38.

Can anyone confirm ?
