do I can reopen this on my own, is there a button somewhere?

I was able to reproduce the problem:

open a project

  • In the main window, below the icons, double click on e.g. classes, then the window to add classes shows up.
  • Then make sure a directory is marked, e.g. the Resources subdirectory
  • enter a filename that doesn't exist yet
  • click OK

Then the Resources directory will be added to the projects list of class files.

Btw, independent of what you want to add, e.g. classes, headers documentation, ... the window title is always "Add documentation". The text at the right of the red toolbox icon in the head of the file selector window is fine, changes accordingly to what to add.

OK. I'll close the issue. Please reopen it (or file a new issue) if you manage
to reproduce the problem. :-)

Thanks

I just tried building another more advanced calculator ;)
in a new project, and it did not add these directories.
Maybe I really did sth. wrong when I tried that example.
I think that should be closed until I maybe can reproduce
the problem.

thanks

I built a test project last night to see if I could reproduce this and it works just fine. I will continue to try though. I admit I haven't tried the precise example you're talking about.

The only file I added explicitly was the CalculatorController.m.

Meanwhile I also tried to follow the other video from saso, where he explains PM and Gorm, creating a currency converter.
There I did not had the problem.
I'll try figure out, where it comes from.

Did you add the obj directory to the list of input source files?

Hi,

just tested projectCenter 0.5.0.
I created an application project, more or less following the video from nicola, generating the calculator.
trying to build the application fails for the following reason:

# gmake
This is gnustep-make 2.0.6. Type 'make print-gnustep-make-help' for help.
Making all for app Calcul...
gmake[1]: *** No rule to make target `obj/obj', needed by `Calcul.app/./Calcul'. Stop.
gmake: *** [Calcul.all.app.variables] Error 2

because in the GNUMakefile the following can be found:

#
# Class files
#
Calcul_OBJC_FILES = \
AppController.m \
obj \
Resources \
CalculatorController.m

removing the lines obj and Resources manually and compiling on the console works.

This is on openbsd 4.4 i386, with these packages installed:
gnustep-back-0.14.0 GNUstep gui backend
gnustep-base-1.16.3 GNUstep base library
gnustep-gorm-1.2.6 GORM: Graphical Object Relationship Modeller
gnustep-gui-0.14.0 GNUstep gui library
gnustep-make-2.0.6 GNUstep makefile package
gnustep-projectcenter-0.5.0 GNUstep ProjectCenter
