This is already fixed in the current development source, which you can get from http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=screen.git.

Hi,

I woul'd like to know, how can I send a command to a screen session witch has never been attached?!

If I start a screen from a shell script file with the -A -d -m -S screenname command. Then i would like to send a command to the specified screen, with the command : screen -S screename -X eval 'stuff somecommand/015'. This is working when i have reattached at least one time the screen.

Is there any option to send a command without attaching the screen ? I would like to make a webbpage, where people can start/stop/maintance a gameserver. If you have any other idea how shoud i do it , please let me know.

Thanx for reading , and replying :) ,
