As far as I remember the problem was on MsWindows/Cygwin and reported by David Purdy. Maybe David can check if this still happens in version 0.6.1. Don't know if he reads this list so I will forward this comment to him.

Does anyone have any more information on this? Eg: the map file corresponding to the stack trace, or a syntax file which triggers this problem.

I can't reproduce the problem on GNU/Linux.

After conducting a 1% sample of a .sav file (>500k records), 'Save As' caused PSPP Windows (v0.6.0-10) to close - psppire.exe.stackdump created, attached.

System: WinXP Pro SP3, 78 Gb hard disk free, 2048 Mb RAM
