These are mostly auxilary characters (esp. for Malayalam, Bengla, and Tamil) representing ligatures and alternative forms, to be taken out of lookup tables.

Moved all into Private Use area. U+E970 or so.

In Serif, I segregated the scripts, in Sans it was hard to see where one began and another ended, so I moved them en masse.

Currently faces containing Indic ranges have their various ligatures and related glyphs in the slots corresponding to high Unicode, starting with u+10000. Unfortunately, those values correspond to Unicode character ranges.

This is just a technical issue, really an inconvenience. It means that we can't maintain the convention of putting a Unicode character in the slot of the same number, if we leave these characters where they are.

It's also sort of wrong.

It would have been better to have put these characters where they belong: in the Private Use area below u+F8FF. But all these characters are referenced from tables; I'm not sure how to move them. Might need a script.
