I rechecked this today when bug #23076 was fixed

I can't find any white spots in this movie today, so perhaps it has been fixed in the meantime.
I have reinstalled with kubuntu 8.04 since I posted this bug, so it may be because of that instead.

In anycase, maybe you should close this ticket.

When watching the movie trailer found at page:
http://www.sf.se/filmer/film?filmid=16002535

It produces some strange white dots/spikes or whatever you like to call them, on black parts of the movie.
Attaching a screenshot.

Try:
gnash -U 'http://www.sf.se/filmer/film?filmid=16002535' -P 'flashvars=movieid=16002535&filmid=16002535&cityid=VO&genres=Drama,Action,aventyr,Svensk,&xmlPath=http://www.sf.se:80/DataProvider' http://www.sf.se/sf/component/trailerplayer/sfPlayer.swf

Click the trailer option from the menu (Its in swedish)

The movie trailer loads and starts to play, whenever there is a black part in the movie it shows white dots.

The sound is out of sync to but maybe thats another issue.

It is reproducable in many trailers at that site:
http://www.sf.se/filmer
