In the gui, go to File-->New-->Syntax and paste the following:

DATA LIST LIST /x * y.
BEGIN DATA.
1.00 2.00
2.00 3.00
3.00 4.00
4.00 5.00
5.00 6.00
6.00 7.00
7.00 8.00
8.00 9.00
9.00 9.00
.00 2.00
END DATA.
REGRESSION
/VARIABLES= x
/DEPENDENT= y
/SAVE= PRED.
LIST.

The predicted values shown in the data sheet do not match those values shown if the syntax is run on the command line.

The first two values do match other output, but the third value is repeated over the remaining 8 cases, which does not match the output of PSPP when the syntax is run on the command line.
