The user has reported that the patch fixes the problem for him.

Thanks.

(By the way, FWIW, he reported that the output with '--GNU-Debug=dflt' was:
agnes@mordor:~$ MPDCon --GNU-Debug=dflt

As it turned out I was able to reproduce the same error even with just one monitor, by switching of the special handling for the default screen.
I corrected the code in SVN and made sure we will all get any future error here by removing the special handling.

Already asked yesterday the OP to post the output with `--GNU-Debug=dflt' and will report here when he replies.

Just one more tip to get more output. Could you please restart the failing application with the option --GNU-Debug=dflt

This error is only possible if either window or context is no valid pointer. As window gest used imidiatly before that line, it must be context, which is invalid, probably NULL.

This could only happen, when the screen cannot be initialized, so there wouldn't be any screen context for that default screen. I am wondering how the existence ofthe second screen may have any influence here. But I have never tried GNUstep i a multi screen environment.

Was there any warning message before the error occured?

A user reported at <http://bugs.debian.org/467199> that GNUstep apps crash on his second display in a dual screen setup (art backend). Here is the backtrace and attached xdpyinfo.
