The sample file I uploaded does not display the problem any longer. Setting to fixed and closing.

OK, I confirm this typesetting problem.

Note that somehow the original sample has lost it's formatting (the typesetted text is too short) so that it doesn't display the problem that the reporter mentions. The one I attach shows the problem. It' really strange what happens : the first page is nearly empty and the second one nearly filled when you would expect the opposite.

Under certain circumstances, the forced page filling caused by "page break" can find a bad solution. The problem happens when the text on which the filling is applied spans just over one page. The result is that second page is reasonably filled, but the first page is NOT filled.

Attached, an example document which demonstrates the problem.
