Done. With the exception of gnulib and libc and a few others (because I can see the no.po file is already gone, or they don't keep PO files in their VCS).

If anyone still sees no.po files in the wild, please point the maintainer of the package at this page:
http://translationproject.org/team/no.html

Hi Benno,

The files have been renamed in the TP, but the package maintainers
have not been informed.

Let's take an example: In http://translationproject.org/latest/gettext-tools/
we have an nb.po and no no.po.
But in the gettext CVS there is still an no.po and no nb.po.
I did not receive a notification about the change at the TP
site, therefore I did not change anything in the CVS.

I think what is needed is a mail from the TP coordinator to the package maintainers of the packages
affected by http://translationproject.org/obsolete/no/ .

So, we're just in need of new releases for the packages I still see shipping the obsolete translations then?

Most no.po files were removed from the TP (or renamed) more than three months ago. The still remaining ones were then moved out of the way: http://translationproject.org/obsolete/no/ .

I agree. The switch from no to nb was done in 2003. The gettext
users were informed about it in January 2004. That's more than
3.5 years ago.

But you should first have the TP remove the 'no' translations,
before the texinfo maintainers take action.

The Norwegian bokmål locale was renamed from no to nb a while back. It seems that texinfo ships two translations for the Norwegian bokmål locale (no and nb). It should be safe to remove the no translation by now.
