Unless you can find a way to reproduce your bug, which could be caused by almost anything, there is not much we can do about it. A system blue screen suggests a bug in either hardware drivers or in xp itself, or perhaps a faulty piece off hardware.

Reopen if you find a way to reproduce.

Opened the program, started a match, played a move, opened Settings and turned on the tutor. Opened Options and changed the colour of dice 1. Clicked OK. System blue screened. After booting did the same again without any trouble.

Toshiba Tecra 9100 laptop, XP SP2 with all updates and software in good condition (considering the OS).
