the Windows menu was meant to be a menu showing the list of currently open documents, like the windows menu in Open Office.  This is of course not implemented right now.  So I think I will hide this menu, for now

I think the "Windows" menu is redundant in gpaint, as it is now:

"Close this window" does the same (or at least it should) as "File->Close" and "Create new window" should be combined with the "File->New" menu.
