As you guessed, this is not a GNUstep bug but rather a bug in the msys shell.
Please could you check to see whether a more recent version of msys fixes it, and if not, report the issue to the msys/mingw people.

Oh, it makes not difference if I have a username with spaces or not, sh.exe crashes. (As i cannot build Oolite with the newer GNUStep version anyway, I will stick to the older for now)

I have noticed that the version of sh.exe is the same in both versions, so it makes no difference at all. Maybe this is not a GNUstep bug, but as the file came with the installation I reported it here.

$ sh --version
GNU bash, version 2.04.0(1)-release (i686-pc-msys)

Well, what I do is compiling Oolite (using the guide from their wiki: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Running_Oolite-Windows )

The problem shows up after installing, sometimes sh.exe crashes on install aswell (when those command line windows show up). Especially when I install with the "build binaries" option.
This is independent of the version, it happens with both the latest releases.

I take it from your stack dump that you are using GNUstep on MS Windows with Msys. What I don't understand is what you are doing when the crash happens and how this is related to GNUstep. Does the crash happen when sourceing the GNUstep.sh file?
Or are there similar problems with Msys without GNUstep? Perhaps an update of Msys might help.

The only additional information you gave is that your user name caontains spaces. Did you try it as a different user, without spaces?

See attached stackdump.

This happens with base-1.11.1-gui-0.10.1 aswell as base-1.13.1-gui-0.11.0

I have to use base-1.11.1-gui-0.10.1 because the newest version has problems with my windows username which contains spaces...
