Dear Anthon:
Thanks for your attention. I've downloaded your package named 'gnubg-0.16-devel-20070703-setup.exe', I guess all gtk.dll are from that package. I have fixed this by downloading source from your SVC and compiling them under MINGW with 'gtk-dev-2.10.11-win32-1.exe' from glade website. Now I'm happy to say goodbye to that bug.

There is still some tiny problem like the text in the panel can't refresh automatically and maybe overlapping with which in the last game. However, at least I can play well then.

Could you try to search your entire hard drive(s) for files named gtk.dll and tell me what you come up with.

Christian.

I have the same error here. It actually applies for most windows, where a text is preselected. If you then conduct a drag-and-drop opertion gnubg crashes. This operation makes no sense, but it happens sometimes accidentially by fingertrouble.

I came this error across when I wanted to export a position. Try
this: From any position use the menu "file" - "export". The proposed name for this file is already pre-selected. If you move your mouse to that selected text, press the mouse button, keep it presses and drag the text to somewehere else, then release the mouse button (as if doing a drag and drop operation), GNUBG crashes. I tried this for both version 0.15 and 0.16. Also in other windows this happens. I.e. "file" - "open...". If you select a filename, then select the textfield and do drang and drop, same effect: crash.

It's not, that this operation does any good. It just happend to my by accident. But it's not nice to have GNUBG crash in those cases.

I cannot reproduce this.

I notice that you have an unusual gtk theme. So it is likely that this bug is caused by dll's from some other gtk application.

Whenever saving a file, in the pop-up dialog, the auto-generated filename has already been selected. If you drag it by mistake(using mouse of course), the programe will crash. I tried many times, the text in the TEXT FIELD can't be draged, or it crashes. But it happened to me much times so that a lot of games I have no chance to save them. What a pitty, so please fix this bug ASAP.
