Fixed to scan for operators in the correct order. Thanks.

I think it does not expect a second character after '<' or '>'.
This is an example of error:

2007-06-19 18:18:19.078 ukrun[1032] Parsing failed for %K <> %@ with <NSException: 0x101843e0> NAME:NSInvalidArgumentException REASON:Missing identifier: > %@
:: warning: Error in test [PredicateTest:testNumber]. Uncaught exception NSInvalidArgumentException

The rest works: '==', '!=', '>', '<', '='.
